One of the oldest temple with huge shiva lingam. Our visit was too good. Priests are really good and not money minded. It took close to thirty minutes for us to reach the top. We got lot of bananas as Prasadham. Just to be cautious, carry a shoulder bag to keep the belongings and bananas. Otherwise you will be chased by Monkeys for Banana while going to the top for Uchi Pillaiyar Dharsan.

A very huge and beautiful Shiva temple..the paintings on walls are incredible and one of the best dipicting the stories around the temple significance..one has to see those painting in live...color full paintings..one of the best and must place to visit in trichy, need to climb around 200 steps visit the temple. The view from the top of the hill is amazing and incredible. The entire trichy city can be viewed and the river kaveri can be viewed and the banks of river kaveri.

A padal Petra sthalm. This temple is so famous in the name of Utchi Pillayar temple. When you step up to Utchi Pillayar temple this Thayumanavar (shiva) temple, Mouna madam temple, Meenakshi Sundreshwarer temple, many small temple (sculpture) and also Pallava caves is on this route. Big step around 600 is there. All temple are well maintained. You should have to spend about 3 hours to get your dharsan and photos.

Also called as Rock Fort temple located over top of the hillock in the city of Tiruchirappalli and is built with rocks that are believed to be over a million years old. Rockfort temple timings is from 6 AM to 8 PM.. from the top of the hill you will be having a panoramic view of the city

Nice temple. You need to climb 300-400 steps 🪜 to reach top. There is no parking facility for car . Use auto to reach foothills of temple. Auto charge 100 inr from main 🚐 bustand. Carry water . Timing post evening 5 pm reaching there is good for you.

Temple is located on top of a hill. Accessibility is via stairs. The best time to visit is during evenings when you can watch the city scape while enjoying the the cool breeze.

Excellent temple in the city. Lord Shiv as Thayumanavar swamy. At the entrance , shop people forcing the pilgrims to buy things. Temple authority should have a look.
